Something for the weekend? The Line, an award winning London based animation collective, have produced this perfectly observed piece animation.
I know it’s our yule-week, but to not share this brick animation of Michael Jackson dancing, well, it would just be criminal. Each lego piece was lovely animated by Annette Jung of Talking Animals. Ow!
Just reminding everyone about our Try Out Tuesday. The competition opened last week and we’re looking for cool animations between 10-30 seconds based on the theme of ‘holidays’.

Today is Show Us The Funny Fridays on Cartoon Food TV. Check out this sneak peak of a new comedy animation from Nexus. It’s the everyday tale of two deranged robot-toys bent on world domination all set to a techno-rap soundtrack. It’s called Invade All Of The Humans and it looks great.

Now, we turn to the serious subject of animated walk and run cycles. Most of you will know, but for those that don’t, this is were animators learn to master the fundamentals of character animation – where they work on making a character move naturally. And for animation students serious about studying animation, Felix Sputnik’s animation loops below are a must watch….Great, got through the whole post without mentioning bouncing boobies! Doh!
